Lawmakers in the Pakistani National Assembly (Parliament) on Sunday elected Shehbaz Sharif as Prime Minister (PM) for the second time.
The Speaker of the National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, announced the re-election of the Chairman of the Pakistan Muslim League, Shehbaz Sharif, after receiving 201 votes.
Moroever, Speaker of National Assembly indicated that Sharif defeated Omar Ayoub, from the Sunni Union Council, who obtained 92 votes.
The head of the Pakistan Muslim League, Shehbaz Sharif, needs only 169 votes to obtain a majority.
