Sharjah Ruler: I belong to Cairo University, Egypt to Lead Arabic Countries

CAIRO, Feb 4 (SEE)- Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, supreme council member and ruler of Sharjah said that he studied in Cairo University at Faculty of Agriculture when he was young, that’s why he deeply belongs to it.

This was during his meeting with university’s board of director in Ahmed Lotfy hall today morning.

The meeting was attended by Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr Khaled Abdel Ghaffar and President of Cairo University Mohamed Othman al-Khosht.

Al Qasimi added that, he chose to join faculty of agriculture despite having a high degree that was allowing him to join either faculty of Medicine or Engineering.

Ruler of Sharjah praised what Egypt achieved so far in many fields, clarifying that the country is expected to lead all Arabic and African ones.

On his part, president of Cairo University asserted many presidents and ministers graduated from the university which reflects the institution’s popularity and reputability all over the world.

Ruler of Sharjah has finally been awarded the distinct character shield for 2018.
