Strong winds and torrential rain brought by Storm Amy have caused widespread travel disruption across the United Kingdom on Saturday.
Weather warnings were issued for most parts of the country, with gusts reaching nearly 160 kilometres per hour overnight, according to the British news agency PA Media.
An orange warning for high winds remains in effect across northern Scotland until 9 pm (2000 GMT), while yellow warnings cover all of Scotland, northern England, and north Wales until the end of the day.
A further yellow wind warning is also in place for the rest of England and Wales until 7 pm, as authorities urge motorists and travellers to exercise caution amid the severe weather conditions.
The Met Office has advised residents in affected areas to stay alert for potential travel delays, power outages, and coastal flooding as the storm continues to sweep across the country.
