Several people have been injured after a helicopter crashed early on Sunday morning along Sukhumvit Road in Mueang district, Samut Prakan Province, Thailand, according to initial reports.
The aircraft went down behind a PTT gas station near a maintenance depot for a mass transit system in the area. Emergency radio operators received reports of an unidentified helicopter crash shortly after the incident.
Authorities confirmed that multiple injuries have been reported, although the exact number of casualties and the severity of injuries have not yet been verified.
Emergency medical teams and ambulances were dispatched immediately to the scene to provide first aid and transport the injured to nearby hospitals, according to the Bangkok Post.
