Seven Palestinians, including four children, lost their lives and several others sustained injuries early Sunday morning due to airstrikes conducted by Israeli warplanes on the al-Maghazi and al-Bureij refugee camps in the central Gaza Strip.

As reported by WAFA, two children were killed and numerous others injured when Israeli forces targeted a residence in the al-Maghazi camp. Furthermore, one man was killed and three others were wounded as a result of an Israeli drone strike that hit a tent accommodating displaced families within the camp.

In a separate incident, four additional Palestinians, including two young sisters, Aya, aged 12, and Tala Abu Nahl, aged 11, were killed in a similar Israeli operation in the al-Bureij refugee camp. Their mother and two other children suffered serious injuries. The airstrike specifically targeted the home of the Mansour family in the camp.

The girls' father, Abdel Salam Abu Nahl, informed WAFA that the family had been displaced from the al-Shati refugee camp, located west of Gaza City, several months prior, seeking refuge in a relative's home in Bureij. The family was asleep when Israeli warplanes struck their three-story building, completely demolishing it and trapping them beneath the debris.

Meanwhile, rescue teams recovered the bodies of two additional victims from the Al-Saftawi area, situated in the northwest of Gaza City.

In the southern Gaza Strip, several individuals were injured, some critically, when Israeli forces targeted a gathering near the Al-Aqad School in Khirbat Al-Adas, north of Rafah.

Late last night, Israeli airstrikes resumed their assault on the Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahiya, located in the northern Gaza Strip. The strikes specifically targeted the hospital's main oxygen station, resulting in injuries to several medical personnel.

Since the onset of the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza in October 2023, at least 44,176 Palestinian fatalities have been documented, with over 104,473 others injured.

There are fears that thousands of victims remain trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to ongoing Israeli attacks.
