The Israeli occupation police said that they arrested 13 settlers who tried to bring a number of “goats” into the Al-Aqsa Mosque, to offer offerings and sacrifices on what the Jews call the Temple Mount, coinciding with the so-called “Jewish Passover.”
The Israeli occupation police published pictures of the goats seized with the settlers who tried to enter Al-Aqsa Mosque, and said: “The Israelis were caught in possession of two goats, one of which was hidden inside a baby carriage. The suspects are being investigated, and the animals were transferred for veterinary treatment.”
In recent days, the occupied city of Jerusalem has witnessed the distribution of leaflets by settlers, with the aim of encouraging extremist Jewish elements to come to what they call the “Temple Mount” and work there illegally.
The Palestinian Jerusalem Governorate warned on Monday of the consequences of settler associations supported by the extremist government of Benjamin Netanyahu and the extremist Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, storming the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and bringing animal sacrifices and slaughtering them in its courtyards during the coming days, on the occasion of the Jewish Passover holidays.
