Multiple explosions were reported in Bahrain on Saturday, targeting the Al Jufair area near the U.S. military base, according to Arab media reports.
The incidents come amid heightened regional tensions following Israeli and U.S. strikes on Iran.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard claimed responsibility, stating that "in response to the enemy's hostile aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, the first wave of large-scale missile and drone attacks has begun against occupied territories."
In response, Israel activated air raid sirens across its territory, anticipating potential missile launches from Iran.
The Israeli military confirmed that missiles were detected heading toward Israeli territory and urged civilians to follow Home Front Command instructions and remain calm.
The Home Front Command issued direct mobile alerts in affected areas, instructing the public to enter protected shelters immediately and remain there until further notice.
Authorities emphasized that following these instructions is critical for saving lives and that residents should not leave shelters without explicit guidance.
The explosions in Bahrain mark a significant escalation in the regional conflict, highlighting the rapid spread of hostilities following coordinated Israeli and U.S. strikes on Iranian targets earlier in the day.
The situation remains fluid, with both military and civilian authorities urging vigilance and compliance with safety protocols.
