Serbian President Hails Sisi's 'Wise Leadership'

Egypt's President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi participated in the inauguration of the Egyptian-Serbian Business Forum in Belgrade, in the presence of his Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vučić.

The forum was attended by a galaxy of senior Serbian officials and representatives of various relevant government agencies.

On his part, the Serbian president praised the 'wise leadership' of President Sisi, as he directly contributed to strengthening relations, as well as the implementation of many giant national projects, which would present Egypt as an important development partner on the international scene.

Moreover, he expressed his keenness to boost cooperation, given the sincere mutual relations between the two friendly countries, stressing that necessary effort will be made, during the coming period, to open a direct flight between Cairo and Belgrade to facilitate the investment process.

It is worth mentioing that, President Sisi welcomed this event, which embodies the spirit of distinguished cooperation between Egypt and Serbia, according to Presidential spokesman Bassam Rady.

The spokesman also stressed Egypt’s keenness during the coming period to develop economic and commercial cooperation relations with the community of Serbian businessmen and companies as well as developing joint investments to contribute in supporting economic development process in Egypt, within the framework of joint action to maximize mutual interests and optimal exploitation of available opportunities.

On his part, Sisi also shed light on many promising investment opportunities in Egypt, especially in the sectors of tourism, pharmaceutical industries, communications, information technology, infrastructure, and real estate.

He expressed Egypt’s aspiration to enhance trade exchange between the two countries in agricultural products.
