The visit comes within the context of the historical relations between the two countries, the spokesman said.

It will witness intensive negotiations with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and the Speaker of the Serbian Parliament "to explore mechanisms to enhance political and economic relations between the two countries and ways to foster closer cooperation and coordination on the regional and international levels," he added.

The President is also set to deliver a speech at Belgrade University focusing on bilateral relations and prospects for strengthening ties. Furthermore, the speech will shed light on the outlines of Egyptian policy regarding the most important regional and international issues.
