Senator Calls Concerned Authorities to Support Digital Innovation

Egyptian Senator Ehab Zakaria called on Monday for supporting digital innovation and luring investments by drawing up public policies for innovation to encourage the businessmen and youth to launch initiatives in the technological sector.

In statements, Zakaria urged the state to develop the knowledge economy by offering investment opportunities in science and knowledge in line with Egypt's steps to achieve Egypt Vision 2030 goals.

"Supporting innovation is the inevitable next step in economic and administrative reform because it represents a traditional challenge for the state."

"However, Egypt achieved progress in the indicators of innovation, administrative reform, and ease of business," the senator added.
