Egyptian fans are currently awaiting the anticipated Jennifer Lopez concert scheduled to take place Seacode in El-Alamein North Coast on August 9th. Ever since the big announcement there have been many questions about how to book tickets in addition to inquiries about the price ranges.

Standing behind this great musical event is a young Lebanese business man who currently resides in Egypt, Rabih  Mockbel. Mockbel is the CEO of Venture Lifestyle and has great experience in organizing huge parties and hosting huge names in Egypt.

Mockbel has constantly expressed his admiration of the Egyptian people, and even went as far as saying “Egyptians are better at parties that Lebanese people” in one of his interviews.

SEE conducted an interview with the young business man about the party.

How did you come up with the idea of hosting one of the biggest Hip Hop artists in the last decade?

I’ve worked with her before, she is awesome. The idea came after a survey I conducted which revealed that Jennifer Lopez appeals to people of all ages, so I thought she would be ideal for a party like this.

Was she excited when you first offered her the chance ?

Yes, very much... She has never been to Egypt and was delighted to have the chance to travel and perform here.

How much time will JLO spend in Egypt ?

20 hours, this party is part of a string of parties under the name, My Party Tour celebrating her 50th birthday.

Did you host any big names in Egypt before ?

Yes, I’ve had the chances to host: DJ Solomon, DJ black coffee, Nelly, Tyga, Inna, Peggy gou, and Martinez brothers

Has the state laws been kind to you in obtaining the licenses for such a big event?

Yes The Ministry of Housing has a big hand in helping especially dr Assem Gazaar and Eng Khaled Abbas. Getting the required licenses to host a party this big has become easy and fluid.

Why did you chosose El-Alamein exactly while there are other beautiful sites like El-Gouna or Sharm El-Sheikh?

I have already work and own places at Alamein city and August time is the best time to go to Sahel.

If all goes well do you plan on bringing in another huge star to Egypt again?

For sure, I will announce the next big star directly after the Jennifer Lopez concert.
