NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg will head to the US capital, Washington, for a two-day visit from June 12 to 13, A statement issued by the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) said.
The statement added that the Secretary-General of NATO is expected to hold several meetings with the President of the United States of America, Joe Biden, and the US Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, as well as members of the NATO Observers Group in the Senate at the White House.
Stoltenberg and Blinken are scheduled to deliver joint statements next Tuesday.
Stoltenberg is expected to discuss with the US President the latest developments on the international scene, most notably the repercussions of the Russian military operation in Ukraine, and ways to support Kiev.
