President Abdel Fattah El Sisi is expected to pay a visit to Baghdad within the next few weeks on invitation of Iraq Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, according to media reports on Friday.
This visit will mark the first visit of its kind for an Egyptian president since 1990.

It's noteworthy that an Iraqi official delegation visited Egypt in the last week and met with statesmen and ministers in Cairo.

In last October, Sisi received Iraqi Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein who handed over the Egyptian president a letter from Prime Minister Al-Kadhimi.
