German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said on Friday that he was completely opposed to US President Donald Trump's proposal to resettle Palestinians from Gaza, in what considered that Trump "made a mistake" in imposing sanctions on the International Criminal Court.
During an election event in Ludwigsburg, western Germany, Scholz added: “What President Trump puts on the table is completely rejected by me. We cannot resettle the people of Gaza in Egypt and Jordan. That's not acceptable.”
Trump expanded his vision on Monday, when he announced the U.S. plan to control Gaza and turn it into the Middle East Riviera after resettling Palestinians elsewhere.
US President Donald Trump said that his country will control Gaza, pointing out that Washington will be responsible for dismantling all dangerous bombs dropped by the Israeli army.
