Today, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz arrived in the city of Aqaba for a visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
Tomorrow, Sunday, he is scheduled to meet with Jordan's monarch, King Abdullah II.
Upon his arrival at King Hussein International Airport in Aqaba, Scholz was welcomed by Naif Al Fayez, the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority, Khaled Al-Hajaya, the Governor of Aqaba, Bertram von Moltke, the German Ambassador to the Kingdom, and several officials.
