A Saudi team invented the first-of-its-kind electronic Qur'an for the blind. The new invention is in form of a portable tablet with all verses saved inside.

It was a brilliant idea to save verses in form of moving braille characters instead of the fixed normal ones.

Blind people used to read the whole Qur'an using printed braille characters in 6 large books.

Now, a leap in dealing with the Qur'an is expected to take place soon.

Mishal Hisham Al Harasani, the Saudi team leader, said that this invention is a result of the cooperation with professors in international universities.

He pointed out that he’s currently seeking for a suitable partnership to convert his invention into real beneficial products.
