Engineer Khalid Al-Falih, Saudi Minister of Investment, delivered a speech during the meeting of the Prime Minister and the accompanying delegation with a number of investors at the headquarters of the Federation of Saudi Chambers.
At the beginning of his speech, the Saudi Minister of Investment welcomed the presence of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly and the ministers from the Egyptian and Saudi sides and members of the Egyptian-Saudi Business Council, expressing his hope that the visit would achieve what both sides hope for and reflect the depth of the close relations between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at all levels.
Al-Falih added that Egyptian-Saudi relations truly represent a model to be emulated in close Arab cooperation, especially what this relationship is characterized by in terms of its strategic depth, strong partnership and common interests, pointing out that this matter is clearly represented at the level of the leadership of the two countries represented by His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, His Highness the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Highness the Crown Prince, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, may God protect them.
The Saudi Minister of Investment pointed out the sound directives, diligent follow-up and care provided by the leadership in both countries for the private sector, and set an unwavering strategic goal for the close relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab Republic of Egypt to be a center of gravity for the Arab world and the Middle East economy during the coming period, God willing. Khalid Al-Falih stressed that the Egyptian market is an attractive destination for the Kingdom, and that the Arab Republic of Egypt represents one of the most important strategic partners of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as the volume of trade exchange between the two countries amounted to more than 124 billion during the years 2022 and 2023.
