Local sources said that the Saudi-led coalition bombed, at dawn on Sunday, military targets of the Iran-allied group in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa.
According to Reuters, witnesses said that the Saudi-led coalition "bombed military targets" in the capital, Sanaa, in the early hours of Sunday morning.
These attacks came after the "Houthis" claimed responsibility for launching drone attacks on an oil refinery in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, on Friday, which led to the outbreak of a fire that was later brought under control.
On Saturday, the coalition said it had intercepted and destroyed a drone bomb launched by the Houthis towards the southern Saudi city of Khamis Mushait.
On Saturday, the Arab Coalition intercepted and destroyed an explosive-laden drone launched by Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi militia toward Saudi Arabia's Khamis Mushait, the Coalition announced on Saturday.
Khamis Mushait is a southwestern city home to the King Khalid Air Base.
The Coalition said in a statement carried by the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA) that the Houthi militia continues to target civilians. Yemen’s Houthis regularly launch drones and missiles into Saudi Arabia, many of which Riyadh says it intercepts.
