Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, has been admitted to the King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Riyadh for medical tests due to inflammation of the gallbladder, Saudi Arabia’s Royal Court said Monday in a statement carried by the official Saudi Press Agency.
"The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman — may God protect him — was admitted this Monday, 29 Dhul Qadah 1441 A.H., marking July 20, 2020, — to the King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Riyadh to undergo some tests due to an inflammation in the gallbladder."
"May God protect the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and bless him with health and wellness", the Royal Court's statement read.” Saudi Gazette reported.
On the other hand, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, the Saudi foreign minister, said today, Monday, that the visit of Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi to Saudi Arabia was postponed after the hospitalisation of King Salman, according to Reuters.
“In recognition of the importance of the visit and a desire to make it succeed, our wise leadership in coordination with our brothers in Iraq has decided to postpone the visit,” Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud wrote on Twitter.
