CAIRO,
Dec. 25 (SEE) - In a clear development that reflects the extent to which Saudi
Arabia is keeping abreast of the modern technologies, an automated robot has
received its government job at the General Organization for Technical and
Vocational Training (GOTVT) in the Kingdom.
The
robot received its ID card and was informed with his job description and tasks.
Minister
of Education Dr. Ahmed Al-Issa, members of the Organizations' Board of
Directors and the GOTVT's Chief Ahmed al-Fahied met with the robot on Sunday.
The
robot's name is expected to be "Technical" and it should work as a
customer service agent at GOTVT.
On his
part, Technical welcomed the meeting's attendees and promised them to be
"a role model".
"I'm
glad to see you all today and I'll work on being a good representative for your
organization," Technical said.
The
education minister expressed his pride of the employee and noted that Technical
will be displayed at Al-Janadriyah Festival so that dozens of visitors can deal
with him and enjoy his services.
