Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, met with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Wednesday in Washington, D.C., as part of an official visit to the United States.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the two ministers reviewed the historical and strategic relations between the two countries and explored ways to enhance them to serve their common interests.
They also discussed the latest regional developments and the ongoing efforts to achieve security and stability in the Middle East.
The meeting was attended by the Saudi Ambassador to Washington, Princess Reema bint Bandar, and the Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed Al-Yahya.
In December, Prince Faisal bin Farhan had previously held a phone call with Rubio to discuss regional developments and the efforts being exerted in that regard.
