Saudi FM Stresses Importance of Joint Action Btw GCC, Egypt

Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister (FM) Prince Faisal bin Farhan affirmed the Kingdom's keenness on the security and safety of the Gulf region. 

In a press conference with Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and GCC Secretary General Dr. Nayef Falah Al-Hajraf, Farhan underlined the importance of joint action between the GCC states and Egypt, to achieve prosperity for their people.

The press conference was held following the GCC foreign ministers meeting with the Egyptian foreign minister.

Moreover, Farhan hailed Egypt's key role regionally and internationally in supporting security and stability.

The Saudi FM pointed out that the meeting discussed the regional developments, the historical Gulf-Egyptian relations, and ways to develop them in all fields, in addition to finding political solutions that protect regional and international peace and security.
