Saudi Foreign Minister (FM) Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah met today, Sunday, in Riyadh with Syrian Foreign Minister Bassam Sabbagh to discuss bilateral relations between their countries and regional and international developments of mutual interest.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the meeting took place on the sidelines of the preparatory ministerial meeting for the upcoming Extraordinary Arab-Islamic Summit, set to be held tomorrow in Riyadh. The two ministers also discussed topics on the summit's agenda.
In a related meeting, Prince Faisal bin Farhan also met with Nigerian Foreign Minister Yusuf Maitama Tuggar to discuss summit agenda items and other key regional and international issues of common interest.
