Saudi Foreign Minister (FM) Prince Faisal bin Farhan stressed the importance of all Sudanese parties' commitment, in order to restore the course of humanitarian work, protect civilians and relief workers, and ensure the safety of humanitarian corridors for the arrival of basic aid.
This came during a phone call with the head of Sudanese Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, to discuss latest developments in Sudan.
On his part, Saudi FM renewed the Kingdom's call for calm, giving priority to the national interest, stopping all forms of military escalation, and resorting to a political solution that guarantees the return of security and stability to Sudan and its brotherly people.
