Saudi Foreign Minister (FM) Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah arrived in Madrid, the capital of Spain, to participate in the expanded meeting on Gaza.
The Saudi FM intends to participate in the expanded meeting of the Ministerial Committee appointed by the Extraordinary Joint Arab-Islamic Summit on developments in the Gaza Strip, the Madrid Group, and a number of European countries.
The meeting is scheduled to discuss developments in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, as well as international efforts to stop the war and end the humanitarian suffering in the Strip.
It will also discuss ongoing preparations for the high-level international conference on the two-state solution, which will be held next June at the United Nations headquarters in New York under the co-chairmanship of Saudi Arabia and France.
