Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khaled bin Salman discussed, during his meeting with the US special envoy to Yemen, Tim Linderking, on Thursday, ways to reach a comprehensive political solution to the Yemeni crisis.
Prince Khalid bin Salman said in a tweet that he discussed with Lenderking "the latest developments in the Yemeni arena," noting that the two sides reviewed "joint efforts to support ways to reach a comprehensive political solution to the Yemeni crisis."
The US State Department said, in a statement, on Tuesday, that Lenderking would travel to Saudi Arabia to "advance existing efforts to make use of the benefits of the armistice and launch a comprehensive peace process."
