On Tuesday, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) inaugurated the 41st Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) summit activities, in Al-Ula city.
Addressing the summit, Bin Salman praised Kuwait and US's key role to heal the rift among the countries of the region, underlining the role of the GCC in strengthening fraternal ties.
The Saudi crown prince considered that "Iranian activities aim to destabilize the region," adding, "We face the challenges of Iran's disruptive behavior."
Moreover, he revealed that the Al-Ula statement would be signed during the Gulf summit.
On Tuesday, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman (MBS) received the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) leaders, and heads of delegation at Al-Ula international airport.
The 41st Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) summit kicked off shortly in the Saudi city of Al-Ula, under the chairmanship of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
Among the participants are, Bahrain’s crown prince, Sheikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Qatari Emir, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Omani Deputy Prime Minister for Cabinet Affairs, Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum.
