Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, in a phone call with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, condemned the recent Israeli attacks, stressing that they have disrupted ongoing dialogue aimed at resolving the crisis and hindered efforts to de-escalate tensions and reach diplomatic solutions.
During the conversation, the Crown Prince reaffirmed the Kingdom's stance against the use of force in resolving conflicts and emphasized the importance of dialogue as the primary path to settling disputes.
At the beginning of the call, Saudi Crown Prince extended his condolences to President Pezeshkian and the Iranian people over the victims of the Israeli attacks.
Moreover, he reiterated Saudi Arabia’s condemnation and strong rejection of these assaults, which he said violated the sovereignty and security of the Islamic Republic of Iran and breached international laws and norms.
For his part, President Pezeshkian appreciated the Kingdom’s position, expressing gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince for their support and for the services and facilities provided to Iranian pilgrims during the Hajj season.
