Saudi Arabia voiced concern over Iran’s intention to start enriching uranium to 60% purity, stressing that this move could not be considered part of a peaceful program.
In a statement, Saudi Foreign Ministry called on Iran to avoid escalation and to engage seriously in the current negotiations, in line with the aspirations of the international community towards Iran's utilization of its nuclear program for peaceful purposes.
The ministry also urged the international community to reach an agreement "with stronger parameters of a longer duration," to enhance monitoring measures and ensure preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons or developing the necessary capabilities for that.
