Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah affirmed his country's support for all efforts aimed at achieving stability in Libya, praising the important steps taken by the Libyan authority in order to meet the aspirations and hopes of the Libyan people towards achieving a unified, and sovereign state that enjoys security, stability and development.

The minister stressed - according to the Saudi Press Agency - the importance of concerted international efforts to combat terrorism and extremist militias so that Libya would not be a safe haven for these groups, through which they threaten the stability of this country.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs - during his participation in the Conference to Support the Stability of Libya - indicated that participation in this meeting confirms Saudi Arabia's approach and the continuation of its policy aimed at reaching solutions for the sake of the Arab community and the peoples of the region and the world, wishing that this conference and its results would be a possible factor for the elected executive authority and the United Nations Support Mission in Libya.
