Saudi Arabia and Singapore agreed to enhance security cooperation, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Sunday.
This came in a joint statement issued at the conclusion of a visit by the Prime Minister of Singapore, Lee Hsien Loong, to Saudi Arabia.
The two sides agreed on the importance of enhancing cooperation in the fields of defense and security, and coordinating on issues of common interest, including combating crime in all its forms. This will contribute to achieving security and stability in the two friendly countries.
According to the statement, the two sides expressed their commitment to enhancing security cooperation and coordination in the fight against crime in all its forms, including terrorism, organized crime, and transnational crime.
They also agreed to enhance cooperation in the field of cybersecurity, and to exchange information and expertise in this field.
