The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed the Kingdom's deep concern regarding the military escalation in the region.
Moreover, the Ministry called for immediate de-escalation, restraint, and support for Pakistani mediation and diplomatic efforts to reach a political solution. This approach aims to prevent the region from sliding into further tension and instability, which would not serve the interests of the region or the world.
In a statement reported by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Ministry emphasized the importance of restoring the freedom of international maritime navigation in the Strait of Hormuz to its state prior to February 28.
The Kingdom also called for ensuring that vessels can pass safely and securely without any restrictions.
