Saudi Arabia responded to the circulated reports about reporting cases of New mutant coronavirus in the kingdom, according to Sputnik News agency.
''The circulating rumors are baseless," the Health Ministry spokesman said on Twitter.
“No cases of the new mutant coronavirus have been reported in the Kingdom," he said, adding, "Studies are underway to examine the genetic sequence of the virus.”
Moreover, the spokesman urged all citizens to contact the ministry for any inquiries, to get accurate information from its official sources.

It is worth mentioning that,on Sunday, Saudi Arabia suspended all international passenger flights for one week in response to a new strain of the coronavirus.
