Saudi Arabia Begins Issuing "Umrah" Permits for Residents, Citizens during Ramadan

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, in cooperation with the Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence, announced the launch of a new service that allows applicants to issue permits to perform Umrah during the holy month of Ramadan through the "Tawakalna" application.

The move comes to host visitors and pilgrims, and facilitating their access to the Two Holy Mosques while adhering to precautionary and preventive measures.

The service is available to applicants in parallel with the permit issuance service provided to vaccinated inpiduals via the 'Eatmarna' application.

The Ministry called on users of the Tawakolna application to update the application to take advantage of the application's services and ensure that it works efficiently.

The permits are issued for an immune Person who received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine / Immune Person after 14 days of receiving the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine / Immune Person who has recovered from the infection.
