Saudi Arabia Announces 1/4 of Population Vaccination, Urges Students to Get Vaccinated

The Ministry of Health in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) announced today, Tuesday,  that fourth of the population was vaccinated against the Covid-19.

The ministry urged all male and female students over 12 years to receive the first dose of the anti-corona vaccine before August 8 to enable them to take the second dose before the beginning of the next school year.

On the other hand, the ministry revealed yesterday, Monday, that 1063 new infections with COVID-19 were reported across the kingdom along with ten deaths.

The total number of the confirmed in kingdom hit 527 thousand; meanwhile, the death toll was 8259.

The Saudi Ministry of Health affirmed that the second dose of the anti-corona vaccine is very important to sustain immunity and fight mutations of the COVID-19.

The ministry calls all populations in KSA to take the two doses of the vaccine to support the immunity system against the new mutations of the virus.

 

The Saudi official news agency pointed out that medical studies affirm the safety and security of the measurements of the Ministry of Health.

Experts of the ministry say that taking two doses of the anti-corona vaccine sustains the immunity system against the new mutations of COVID-19.

As of July 21, The Saudi Ministry of Municipal, Rural, and Housing Affairs has announced that as of August 1 this year, the un-vaccinated people against COVID-19 will not be allowed to the institutions of private and public sectors across the kingdom.

The ministry issued today, Wednesday, that the vaccinated people who received the anti-corona vaccine or those who recovered from the disease abiding by the precautionary measurements to keep the public healthy.

The ministry’s statement affirmed that vaccination will be an obligatory term to allow entry to malls, shops of retails and wholesale, public, marketplaces, resultants, coffee shops, men’s barbershops, and women’s beauty salons.
