A senior Saudi diplomat confirmed that the two sides of the conflict in Sudan will resume tomorrow, Sunday, in Jeddah.

The Saudi diplomat added that talks touch on how to implement plans to deliver humanitarian aid and withdraw forces from civilian areas.

France 24 reported today, Saturday, that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia had invited the head of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council, Lieut. Gen. Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, is to attend the Arab League summit scheduled in Jeddah next Friday.

The diplomat said the two sides would remain in Jeddah, on the Red Sea, to start the next phase of negotiations after Thursday's agreement on the plan to protect civilians.

However, Clashes renewed in Khartoum between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and members of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), today, Saturday, in districts of the Sudanese capital, Khartoum.

Clashes renewed in Bahri (north) and Omdurman (west), while military aircraft flew despite the signing of a "declaration of principles" by the two sides in the Saudi city of Jeddah on Thursday.

News agencies said that violent clashes have renewed in Bahri and Omdurman, which has complicated the humanitarian situation.

The warplanes flew over Bahri and Omdurman, and fired shells at the gatherings of the "RSF", and the sounds of artillery and clashes with heavy and light weapons were heard in the eastern neighborhoods of the Nile.
