Saudi Arabia has affirmed its total rejection of any actions that undermine the security and stability of Somalia, emphasizing its full support for the sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity of the Federal Republic of Somalia.
This came during a meeting in Riyadh between the Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, and the Somali Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Abdisalam Abdi Ali.
Saudi FM clarified that the Kingdom stands by Somalia in facing challenges that threaten its security and stability, reiterating Riyadh’s supportive position for Somali sovereignty and the rejection of any interference affecting its national security.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the two sides reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance and develop them across various fields.
They also discussed the latest regional developments, along with several issues and topics of mutual interest.
