Sanders Launches Petition Demanding Ceasefire between Palestine, Israel

On Monday, Bernie Sanders called for a ceasfire between Palestine and Israel by establishing an online petition.

He posted on Facebook: "Our most important task is to stop the bloodshed and destruction. Please join me in demanding an immediate cease fire to the violence."

Former US Presidential candidate added: "Palestinian people must also enjoy the right to live in peace, security and democracy."

The American politician concluded: "Sign my petition calling for an immediate ceasefire in Israel and Palestine to prevent any further loss of civilian life and to prevent further escalation of conflict."
