Samsung has introduced a groundbreaking development in the electronics industry with the announcement of new random access memory (RAM) chips featuring unparalleled specifications.

These chips represent a significant leap forward in electronic component technology.

The new chips are the first GDDR (Graphics Double Data Rate) memory type to offer a capacity of 24 gigabytes, specifically developed to enhance data centers and artificial intelligence workstations. Looking forward, these chips could also be integrated into graphics processors for gaming devices and designers' computers.

Samsung reports that these new chips achieve a data processing speed of 42.5 gigabytes per second, which is 25% faster than previous GDDR chips. Additionally, they offer a 30% improvement in energy efficiency.

Developed using the fifth-generation 10-nanometer technology, the chips have seen a 50% increase in cell density compared to last year's GDDR7 chips.

Samsung plans to begin testing these chips with artificial intelligence systems and graphic processors this year, with a market launch expected in early 2025.
