Samsung launched Galaxy A31 phone, is scheduled to be available starting from the Australian market this week. Some rumours have hinted that the Galaxy A31 would come with a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 5-megapixel secondary sensor, and a macro camera.

However, other than this, we don't have any other details about what processor it would have or any details about the display. Going by the numbering system, the Galaxy A31 will be another mainstream device, which means we should expect good battery life.

In a comparison between the new phone and its Galaxy M31 counterpart, which was put on the market last March, the screen size of the device differs slightly, with the dimensions of the M31 (159.2 * 75.1 * 8.9 mm) while it features the A31 screen (159.3 * 73.1 * 8.6mm).

According to Technews, The phones are made of plastic, and both support two nano-sized chips. As for the processor, both phones feature quad-core processors at a speed of 1.7 GHz, while the M31 outperforms the A31 in the second processor, so it comes with a quad-core processor with a speed of 2.3 GHz, and it comes with 31 quad-core processor, at a speed of 2.0 GHz.

Noteworthy, Samsung launched the 2020 version of its popular Galaxy J2 Core phone, however the new version is not much different from the original version.

According to Life news, the phone offers a 5-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels, and on the face of the phone there is also the front camera that comes with a 5-megapixel camera, and the only back camera is 8-megapixel, with the ability to record 1080p video at 30 frames per second.

Meanwhile, the Korean company increased the new Galaxy G2 Core phone in the internal storage, compared to the original version launched in 2018, as it became 16 GB, with the possibility of expansion up to 256 GB via external memory cards microSD.

The phone arrives as a slightly upgraded model of the Galaxy J2 Core that was released in 2018. Even though there is a gap of two years between the launch of the two phones, the Galaxy J2 Core 2020 includes very few improvements in design and specifications over its predecessor.

It is already on sale on the official Samsung India website, and is available in Blue, Black, and Gold colour options. The company has listed EMI options starting from Rs. 296.51 per month. Delivery is scheduled for late May, possibly due to the lockdown restrictions.

Samsung revamped its smartphone strategy last year, and has The company had confirmed that it will replace the old ‘J’ series with a new ‘Galaxy A’ series. Therefore, this quiet Galaxy J2 Core 2020 upgrade comes as a surprise.
