Samsung introduced variants of the mid-range Galaxy A42 and Galaxy A71 that support the fifth generation standard for mobile networks in a bid to make the technology more affordable.

5G-only handsets are compatible with 4G LTE networks so they can be used in markets where no 5G networks exist. However, Samsung has maintained a split so far by launching 5G and LTE-only variants. It did that for the entire Galaxy S20 lineup as well as for the Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71.

Samsung started development on what seems to be a 5G-enabled smartphone as part of its 2021 Galaxy A series. The device in question sports model number SM-A426B, and based on Samsung’s current system for putting model numbers on phones, the SM-A426B should be the international variant of the Galaxy A42 5G.

The report states that 2021 Galaxy could likely have 128GB of internal storage which is an upgrade from the Galaxy A41’s 64GB option only.

In terms of colour options, the report mentions that the Galaxy A42 5G will come in gray, black, and white colors. It could also be possible that in the near future Samsung will make only 5G-enabled devices in its Galaxy A-series, S-series, and Note-series.

Galaxy A51 was the world’s best selling smartphone. Amidst growing sentiments against China, Companies like Samsung can very well capitalize the situation by attracting potential buyers across the world.

Previous reports of Samsung planning to bring wireless charging technology to the A series falls in line with this and might land in the A42 as well.

Later, Samsung Korean unveiled the Galaxy Tab S7 tablet, but it has not yet announced the date of its launch. According to the latest leaks published by the technical website sammobile, the new device will be very similar to the Galaxy Tab S6.

The leaks show a design not unlike the Galaxy Tab S6, and the Galaxy Tab S7 will probably come with a metal and glass body with an S Pen, as well as a dual camera system that also appears to have an LED flash. The device will also come 12.4 inches, and the dimensions of this tablet are said to be 253.7 x 165.3 x 6.3 mm, and if these dimensions are accurate, then the Galaxy Tab S7 will be thicker than its predecessor.

Some expect Samsung to use the Infinity-O panel on the tablet, so the edges can be thinner. Regarding the specifications of the Galaxy Tab S7, leaks indicate that it will come with a Snapdragon 865 processor, in addition to 5G support.
