Veteran Egyptian comedian Samir Ghanem denied the circulating rumors about his ill health, and said he is “absolutely fine”.
In a statement, Ghanem confirmed that he does not suffer from anything, noting that he is at home. The actor thanked everyone who tried to contact him in the past hours to check on his health.
Moreover, the actor’s wife, prominent actress, Dalal Abdelaziz, stated that he had undergone routine medical check-up.
Multiple reports claimed that Ghanem’s health had deteriorated during the past hours, and was transferred to a private clinic to check on his health.

On the other hand, the couple alongside their daughter Emy will be soon in their older daughter Donia's latest film, "Tasleem Ahaly", which marks her first leading role in a film.
It also stars Hesham Maged, Bayoumi Fouad, Mohamed Otaka, and others.
The film is written by Sherif Naguib, and directed by Khaled El Halafawy.

It is worth mentioning that Ghanem, born on January 15, 1937, graduated from the faculty of agriculture in 1967.
He became friends with George Seydhom and al-Deyf Ahmed, and together, they formed a singing and acting troupe, “Adwaa al-Masrah”.
They presented the first-ever TV show “Fawazir Ramadan” (Trivia Shows).
After El Deif passed away in 1970, Ghanem and Sidhom continued to perform under the same name “Tholathy Adwa’a El Masrah” until the 80s.
Ghanem had outstanding stage performances in“Tabeekh al-Malayka” (Angelic Cuisine), “Romeo wa Juliet” (Romeo and Juliet), and others.
Moreover, he is also known for his outstanding performance in “Fawazir Ramadan” as Fatouta.
Among his most successful television performances in TV series “Hekayat Mizo” (Mizo Tales).
Ghanem is considered one of the most talented, spontaneous comedic actors in Egypt and the Middle East.
