Veteran Egyptian comedian Samir Ghanem opened up Saturday about his three marriages, including his marriage to a Somali woman for the first time.
Ghanem stated, during his interview with TV presenter, Wafaa El Kilani on her "Al-Sirah” program broadcast on "DMC" channel, that his first wife was a Somali woman whom he met at a party.
"We were married for only three months, and after that, the separation occurred," he added.
Ghanem continued: "As for my second wife, it was a funny marriage. I was hanging out with my friends and the evening ended with me getting married. She was a great lady. We were married for a week and agreed that it is difficult to continue in our the marriage,".
The veteran actor noted that his third and last wife is Dalal, adding: "Dalal Abdelaziz, is a legend. The thing that made our marriage succeedes was that I did not intend to get married, and she knows how to plan well, and I found myself marrying her.".

It is worth mentioning that Ghanem, born on January 15, 1937, graduated from the faculty of agriculture in 1967.
He became friends with George Seydhom and al-Deyf Ahmed, and together, they formed a singing and acting troupe, “Adwaa al-Masrah”.
They presented the first-ever TV show “Fawazir Ramadan” (Trivia Shows).
After El Deif passed away in 1970, Ghanem and Sidhom continued to perform under the same name “Tholathy Adwa’a El Masrah” until the 80s.
The actor had outstanding stage performances in“Tabeekh al-Malayka” (Angelic Cuisine), “Romeo wa Juliet” (Romeo and Juliet), and others.
Moreover, he is also known for his outstanding performance in “Fawazir Ramadan” as Fatouta and in TV series “Hekayat Mizo” (Mizo Tales).
The actor also used to host a talk show on OTV called "An Hour With Samir Ghanem".
Ghanem is considered one of the most talented, spontaneous comedic actors in Egypt and the Middle East.
