Egyptian actor Samir Ghanem was transferred to a hospital as he suffers from impaired kidney function, close source stated late Friday, denying rumors that the actor contracted coronavirus.

The source affirmed that Ghanem has been moved to the intensive care in hospital, not isolation one, due to impaired in kidney function, adding that he will be moved to a room in two days.

Many outlets reported that the comedian actor contracted coronavirus along with his wife actress Dalal Abdel Aziz.

On his part, TV host Ramy Radwan, Donia’s husband, asked his followers on Facebook to pray for his mother-in-law and father-in-law’s speedy recovery.
