Economic Misdemeanour Appeals court, commutted on Monday, the sentence of Egyptian belly dancer Sama El-Masry to one year in prison.
The court sentenced El-Masry to one year in prison and to pay EGP 100 fine, as well as to put her under police surveillance for a year, over charges of inciting debauchery and indecency.
It is worthy to mention that earlier the court had sentenced El Masry to 2 years in prison with EGP 300,000 fine.
