Prosecutor General in Egypt Hamada el Sawy on Friday has ordered to open an investigation with the controversial belly dancer and singer Sama El Masry after she was arrested.
The Attorney General decision came after the lawyer Fahmy Bahgat filed a complaint against the Egyptian belly dancer, accusing her of posting photos and videos on her social media platforms that stirred instincts.
This complaint was raised after Egypt's Prosecutor General ordered the detention of "Tit tok" student Hanin Hossam for four days pending investigations into charges of “inciting immortality”.
It is scheduled that public prosecution will issue a statement on the details of ongoing investigations and charges brought against her.
The video stirred anger on social media over the last couple of days.
On his part, Cairo University President Mohamed Othman El-Khosht said he had received several messages that a student in the university was calling upon females to shoot “inappropriate” videos in return for money.
He stressed that the university will impose the maximum penalty against the student, who is likely to be expelled from the university for acting against the Egyptian community’s values and traditions.
Following El-Khost’s statements, Hanin went live on Tiktok, denying all these charges and stressing that she has taken her parents’ approval on these videos.
Hanin, who has recently become the number one trend in Egypt, but not for making cool videos or having a certain talent for instance, but merely just out of controversy!
Many people have seen her on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram making fun of her so-called photoshopped pictures, her taste in clothes and music, and finally the way she speaks English.
