Mexican-American actress Salma Hayek joined the cast of film "The House of Gucci" as Pina Auriemma.
The film stars Adam Driver as Italian businessman Maurizio Gucci and Lady Gaga as his ex-wife Patrizia Reggiani. Pina Auriemma is a friend of Reggiani and a clairvoyant.
"The House of Gucci" also stars Jared Leto, Al Pacino, Jeremy Irons, Jack Huston, Reeve Carney, and others.
It revolves around the murder of Gucci by Reggiani and the aftermath of his murder.
The crime film is written by Roberto Bentivegna and directed by Ridley Scott. It is based on the 2001 book "The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed" by Sara Gay Forden.
Scott began developing the project in 2006 but quite in 2012 before signing on once again in 2019.
"The House of Gucci" is set to release on November 24, 2021.
Hayek is also slated to appear in "The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard" and in Marvel's Eternals as Ajax, the Eternals leader.
