Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has slammed the VAR technology following the Reds’ away victory over West Ham on Sunday.
The Egyptian forward managed to end a six-match league run without a goal following a brace against West Ham United in a 3-1 victory for Liverpool at the London Stadium.
“I think before; I don’t like VAR!” Salah told Sky Sports after the West Ham game.
“From the beginning of the season, in my opinion, it’s killed the game. You have to be exactly the right side of the line.
“In other countries it’s OK. I don’t want to get a fine, but it’s my opinion. I don’t like VAR,” he added.
Salah went on to speak about the West Ham game, saying: “It’s a good win for us today. We play away for the second game in a row and you need to win every game now.
“It’s a tough team, to be fair, they play a really good game. I think I scored a few goals against them but it’s a tough team, they are in a good position this season.
“So, we just need to carry on and keep winning."
