Salah Claims LFC Goal of the Month Award for February

A strike from Mohamed Salah against Southampton has been voted the club’s best goal for February.

Salah's scored a glorious goal for the Reds during their Premier League clash against Southampton when Alisson picked out Henderson on the right-wing, he slid in a pass for his Salah to dink over McCarthy,

Liverpool official website reported that Salah's effort gained most votes in the poll, conducted through the website.

"Salah’s effort earned the most votes in our Goal of the Month poll on Liverpoolfc.com, with Sadio Mane’s winner at Norwich City in second and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s opener past Saints third," the website reported.

"Rachel Furness’ rising drive against Arsenal for Liverpool FC Women finished fourth and Henderson took fifth for his side-footer in the win over Southampton," it added.

The iconic Egyptian star was called up for the Pharaohs upcoming closed camp.

On Saturday, the 27-year-old Egyptian star made his 100th Premier League (PL) appearance for Liverpool after he featured in the Reds’ starting line-up for Bournemouth encounter.

Since he joined the Reds in 2017, he became an effective player in the Reds due to his great efforts with his team.

Salah led the Reds to claim the Uefa Champions League and Uefa Super Cup titles during the last season.

He also guided them to lift the Fifa Club World Cup title in December.

The iconic Egyptian star has led the Reds to maintain their Premier League leadership during the ongoing season as they dropped only five points since the beginning of the season.
