Donia, the daughter of prominent actor Salah Abdallah, disclosed Thursday on social media that the star had suffered a heart attack in the past few days.
She shared that Abdallah had experienced pain in his chest and was taken to the hospital where he underwent a cardiac catheterization procedure and a stent placement.
Donia reassured that the actor was in stable condition and that the doctors are allowing him to continue shooting his projects after several days of rest.

Abdallah has recently joined the cast of TV series “Ramadan Kareem 2”, the sequel to the 2017 TV series “Ramadan Kareem“, which is set to be screened during the Ramadan 2022 drama marathon.
He is replacing late renowned actor Mahmoud El Gendy, who was one of the main cast of the original series.
The series is written by Ahmed Abdullah and directed by Sameh Abdel Aziz, the creates of the first season.
“Ramadan Kareem” season 1 also starred Mahmoud El Gendy, Sayed Ragab, Reham Abdel Ghafour, Ruby, Sherif Salama, Karim Afifi, Salwa Othman, Sabry Fawaz, Mohamed Mahmoud, Sahar Al Sayegh, and others.
Abdel Aziz is currently preparing to film the sequel next October.

Abdallah will also appear in TV series “Shqa 6”, which premieres on August 19.
The series is a thriller/suspense genre and consists of 15 episodes.
It also stars Ruby, Ahmed Hatem, Hany Adel, Mahmoud El-Bezzawy, Rehab Al Jamal, Haya Fayad, Malak Koura, and others.
The series is produced by Ayman Youssef, directed by Mahmoud Kamel, and penned by Rafik El-Qady, Mahmoud Waheed, Souad El-Qady, and Nabil Shoaib.
The plot is centered around a woman (Ruby) and her neighbors who face the strange occurrences that unfold in apartment no. 6.
